Signs and Symptoms of Marijuana Use  
 

Following is a fairly comprehensive list of the most common signs and symptoms of marijuana use.
 

  1. Rapid, loud talking and bursts of laughter in early stages of intoxication.
  2. Sleepy or stuporous in the later stages.
  3. Lack of concentration and coordination.
  4. Forgetfulness in conversation.
  5. Inflammation in whites of eyes.
  6. Odor similar to burnt rope on clothing or breath.
  7. Distorted sense of time passage - tendency to overestimate time intervals.
  8. Craving for sweets.
  9. Increased appetite.
  10. Use or possession of paraphernalia including roach clip, packs of rolling papers, pipes or bongs.
